It wasn’t a pastor but a deacon. My sister in law passed and we went to the church to arrange the services. We knew the deacon so we arranged him to speak. Well day comes for the funeral and we had a few people a few minutes late. One person came in he stopped. Another came in and he kept talking about the rudeness of the people coming late. So I had to get up go outside the church and stop people from coming in. Did I mention is was a rainy cold day? And I was one of the morners? Come to find out he had double booked us with a wedding. My mother had to stand up to my school administration multiple times. My counselor tried to alter my schedule so I would have easier classes yet these classes would not qualify me enough credits to attend college. Gym teacher tried to send me to Saturday school for not wearing gym shorts (wasn't a huge fan of stripping in a locker room) and we lived far away and school didn't feel like sending a bus. Mine didn’t. I had moved from Minnesota to Kentucky back in 98. I was feeling really run down, but didn’t think anything was wrong. I’m allergic to bleach in all forms. A friend asked me to Frost her hair and I did. When I opened the package of the powdered bleach mix, it billowed in the air and some of it settled into the tops of my ears. Not long after finishing, I realized my ears hurt. My bil (brother-in-law) looked and said I had blisters on them. Off to the ER we went. I was nervous so my bil was cracking jokes to calm me down and I was laughing when the doctor came it. She got this nasty look on her face and started talking down to me. She barely looked at my ears and sneered I’ll live, then walked out. We were like wtf? Shortly after a male nurse came in to put some numbing cream on my ears.
